The crystal ball drops in Times Square, and the New Year begins! Ignite editor Laura Bickle looks forward to 2018 with this collection of the trends industry insiders will be utilizing this year.
1 |
Informality:
Attendees are looking for interactive meeting space and hybrid room formats. They are also looking for more ways to connect with one another when at a conference with purposeful networking. |
|
2 |
Pops of Colour:
Look for bright yellow, pink, orange and lime. The Benjamin Moore 2018 colour of the year is Caliente—a charismatic shade of red. Metallic neutrals are hot, as well as tinted mirrors and glass accents. |
|
3 |
Conscious Foodies:
Groups are looking for smaller plates, food provenance and environmental impacts. Wellness cocktails will feature superfood ingredients and Korean food accents will take centre stage. |
|
4 |
More Free Time:
Let your participants absorb, reflect and learn from one another without intrusion. You don’t have to schedule every last minute of the day. |
