Primary responsibilities include training and mentoring the Operations team that plan and execute business events, conferences, meetings, experiential marketing events, incentive programs, among other types of corporate events. Education preferably to post-graduate level, or professional education in Event Management, Hotel Management, Tourism or another relevant domain and minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Meeting & Event industry required.

You’ll help the Internal Events team in coordinating meetings and events on the ground in Toronto, in addition to remotely coordinating high-impact events in various global Pinterest offices, such as: New York, Dublin, Paris and London. Must have 2+ years work experience as an event coordinator, venue manager, or equivalent hospitality role with direct client/guest interaction.

This role will primarily focus on organizing our global tradeshow schedule and managing logistical aspects related to events. While providing support for marketing tasks, such as content review and competitor tracking, is essential, the core responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient and effective execution of our tradeshow presence. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred and minimum 1-3 years of experience in event coordination roles required.

In general, the Manager, Member Events is responsible for coordinating and evaluating timely, dynamic, and responsive events and services for Children’s Healthcare Canada members. This role will project manage the delivery of key Oncology R&D events, such as Oncology R&D Town Halls and Senior Leaders calls, and co-manage signature cross-R&D events such as our Global Science Days and the R&D Awards. In addition, you will help to keep the team on track in terms leading budgets and other administrative duties for the Head of Oncology R&D Communication. Must be highly organised with prior event management and administrative support experience.

This role is responsible for maximizing sales and revenue by building strong relationships with 3rd party customers, internal and external vendors, and key stakeholders. This includes identifying solutions that meet company goals and objectives, resulting in a compelling, profitable event experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; eight or more years of dedicated experience in Food and Beverage and highly refined sales skills preferably related to events required.

This role is responsible for planning and organizing various events for Doctors of BC. The primary focus will be on arranging meetings, medical student and resident events, and other engagement activities on behalf of the organization. Post-secondary education AND up to two years of progressive experience or equivalent level of related work experience in-lieu of post-secondary education required. At least 2 years of experience in conference and event planning is ideal.
