Tremblant: Reconnect in Nature
A four-season resort in a breathtaking mountain setting, Tremblant is a unique destination with endless possibilities for the most memorable meetings, conferences, retreats and incentives. A variety of accommodations, ample meeting and conference space, unique off-site and outdoor venues and loads of activities for team-building fun—connected by a charming, walkable village at the foot of the majestic Mont Tremblant in the Laurentians—set the stage for inspiring and unforgettable programs.
Close by, but a world away
Tremblant may seem like a remote location in Quebec’s Laurentian Mountains, but this awe-inspiring destination is a lot closer and easier to get to than you might think—it’s only a 65-minute flight from Toronto on Porter Airlines, a 90-minute drive from Montreal and a 2-hour drive from Ottawa. Set in a quaint pedestrian village, everything is within walking distance—in addition, free shuttles are available from the resort to properties and venues nestled just outside the village. Guests can also take the Panoramic Gondola to the summit while enjoying unparalleled views of the mountains and surrounding valleys.
From luxury suites at recognized hotel brands and boutique properties next to shops and restaurants in the pedestrian village, to mountainside condos with panoramic views of Lac Tremblant and townhomes just steps or a short drive away from the golf courses, the diversity of accommodations across 1,900 lodging options will satisfy the needs of every group.
There are 13 hotel properties, and several with modern meeting facilities that can accommodate large groups. The Fairmont Tremblant, conveniently located at the base of the mountain in the pedestrian village, is a luxurious retreat for both business and incentive travellers, boasting 314 various types of rooms. The hotel has 22 meeting rooms, more than 22,000 sq. ft. of flexible conference space that can host up to 950 guests and four restaurants. After hours, delegates can enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools, revitalizing treatments at the on-site spa and meet on the terrace to unwind with a cocktail.
Also in the pedestrian village, a short walk to the slopes and close to two championship golf courses, the well-appointed Le Westin Tremblant with 122 varying room types offers superb amenities for corporate stays. For small conferences, more than 4,000 sq. ft. of flexible event space across six venues is available, and a large outdoor terrace is perfectly suited to cocktail receptions.
From large conferences to small brainstorming sessions, you can be confident that your Tremblant gathering will be a productive one, thanks to 60,000 sq. ft. of indoor meeting, convention and exhibition space, including 52 rooms in the pedestrian village.
Camp de Base Tremblant, the resort’s meeting facility, is the starting point for dynamic meetings, a place where creativity is sparked and ideas are exchanged, inspired by the magnificent surroundings. Re-opening this November after a complete makeover of the first floor, the venue is ideally located in the village, within walking distance to many hotels. Camp de Base Tremblant can accommodate up to 650 delegates in 10,500 sq. ft. of meeting space divided across 12 inviting rooms, with those on the second floor being naturally lit. A multi-function room that can host 400 and a second-floor patio with space for 150 round out the features of this multi-purpose complex.
At the foot of the Versant Soleil side of the mountain, accessible by gondola or shuttle service from the village, Casino de Mont-Tremblant ups the wow factor with modern meeting facilities and entertainment for your guests, including live music, 500 slots and many game tables. To gather your team before the fun begins, the casino has five state-of-the-art meeting rooms, an exclusive suite for up to 40 of your executives and the welcoming Restaurant Altitude with its elevated menu and panoramic views of the Laurentians.
The Grand Manitou ski lodge at the summit takes your event to new heights. Boasting 360-degree unforgettable mountain views, the recently renovated 10,000-sq.-ft. venue can host receptions for up to 580 guests on the first floor, while the second-floor mezzanine accommodates events for up to 100 delegates. And the experience of taking the scenic Panoramic Gondola up 2,871 ft. to the Grand Manitou is just as remarkable. Marie-Lise Lacroix, president, Access Destination Services, who brought a group of 550 to the resort this past summer for the Ferrari Club of America Annual Meet, says, “the most spectacular [event] was the rental of the gondola (with Prosecco!) and having dinner at the top for nearly 400 people. We also had a band and people were just having fun and dancing.”
The pedestrian village at the heart of the resort is as vital to the Tremblant experience as the mountain. As they walk this picturesque, cobblestoned quarter, delegates will find exclusive clothing boutiques, charming gift shops and galleries featuring Canadian art collections where they can see the artists at work. For a celebratory team dinner or that essential après-ski bite, there are more than 40 restaurants, bars and cafes, including Le P’tit Caribou, considered one of the best après-ski bars in the world, known for its creative cocktail and appetizer menu, entertainment and lively atmosphere.
Whether for post-meeting adventure or team-bonding fun, Tremblant is an all-season playground. Boasting a ski area of 305 hectares and 102 ski trails on four distinct slopes, skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels will revel at this world-class resort. And the winter wonderland fun does not end on the slopes—take the gondola to the summit for a guided snowshoeing tour paired with a hearty fondue dinner (both cheese and chocolate!) or travel deep into the Laurentian backwoods on a guided dogsledding adventure, enjoying a traditional meal midway, served in the heart of the forest.
Group activities, from serene to exhilarating, are just as plentiful during the warmer months. Thrill seekers can soar across Quebec’s longest zip line, roam the trails around the resort by mountain bike or scale the Via Ferrata in Parc National du Mont-Tremblant. Those who prefer more relaxing excursions can play a round at two championship golf courses, and get out on the calm waves of Lac Tremblant by canoe, kayak or stand-up paddle board or on a public or private cruise.
The Activity Centre is on hand to help meeting planners organize group experiences, both on and off the resort, as well as activities for those who choose to extend their stay at Tremblant.
Here for you
The Tremblant Resort Association (TRA) sales team offers unparalleled service and support to planners organizing meetings, conferences or corporate retreats in Tremblant, including bid assistance, host visits, site inspections and sample itineraries. As Lacroix began planning her event for the Ferrari Club of America Annual Meet, calling each hotel for details and rates, she was thrilled to receive a call from TRA Business Development Manager, Marie-Chantal Thibault, offering to assist her with resort options available to her in one regrouped destination proposal. “It was magic,” she says. “It just made my life easier! I had the best service from her. I felt she really wanted me to have the best event and best experience in Tremblant. She really went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied.”
