Waterloo Region: Perfect Accommodations

Choose major hotel brands or historic boutiques

When it comes to group size, Waterloo Region specializes in small to medium-sized gatherings. With a total of 2,800 guestrooms in the destination, planners have several options to choose from, whether preferences lean toward major hotel chains, charming boutique inns or campus accommodations. Waterloo Region accommodations are close to great restaurants, shops, local attractions such as the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market and outdoor activities.

If you’re bringing groups between May and August, consider the region’s post-secondary campuses. Both the University of Waterloo and Conestoga College offer economical overnight accommodations plus the use of on-site classrooms, lecture halls, theatres, boardrooms and sports facilities. Campuses are easy to get around, feature on-site restaurants and catering services and are close to nature trails and green spaces, not to mention endless watersports possibilities along the nearby Grand River.

For those who wish to stay and meet at a hotel or inn, Waterloo Region offers a selection of stylish accommodations offering on-site multifunctional conference and meeting spaces. Here are just a few of the region’s marque hotels:
